Duct Sealant

Description: 

Duct Sealant is a single component water based, non-flammable sealant, highly flexible used for air ducts forms a long lasting steel for air passing through the ducts.

 

Properties:

  • Non-toxic
  • Non-hazardous
  • Non-flammable

Technical Properties:

  • Typical properties: Viscosity : 50,000 TO 80,000 cps
  • Flow : 15 mm maximum
  • Solid Content : 65% minimum
  • Dry to tough : 1 hour (approximate)
  • Cure time : 24 to 72 hours + depending on Humidity, Application and temperature
  • Cured sealant : Tough and flexible

(Should not be considered Colour : Grey as specifications)

APPLICATIONS

It can be used for ducts based on galvanized steel, aluminum or mild steel. It can be used to fill the gaps between duct connector frames and duct sections. It can also be used for duct wall penetrations and longitudinal seams.
