Description:

Expanded PTFE Joint Sealant is a flexible, non-hardening, and easy-to-apply sealing solution designed for flanged connections, vessels, and other irregular surfaces. Made from 100% expanded PTFE, it provides a reliable, compressible seal, even on rough or uneven surfaces, making it suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications, including chemical processing, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Technical Specifications:

• Material Composition: 100% expanded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)

• Temperature Range: -240°C to 270°C (short-term up to 315°C)

• Pressure Resistance: Up to 20 MPa (200 bar)

• Chemical Resistance: Resistant to all chemicals (except molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine)

• pH Range: 0 – 14

• Density: Approx. 0.8 g/cm³

• Compressibility: High compressibility, enabling it to conform to irregular surfaces
